Aquaflow Valves, a Division of T-T PUMPS, is proud to announce that its Swing Check Valve has achieved approval by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme.

The Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS) assesses products and materials to ensure that they do not waste, misuse, unduly consume or contaminate the potable water supply network, in order to show compliance with Regulation 4 of the requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and Scottish Water Byelaws 2004.

To achieve this accreditation, the valves underwent a stringent evaluation process encompassing mechanical assessments and material examinations to demonstrate that the valves are not detrimental to water quality.

The unique, lightweight Swing Check Valve range, used to prevent reverse flow, satisfies EN1074 Part 3, EN12334 and BS5153. Approved from DN50 to DN400 with optional external weighted arm (guarded if required) and flanged to EN1092 PN10, PN16, Imperial BS10 Table D or E; the approval extends to the valve being installed either horizontally or vertically.
