Launch of Wedge Gate Valves

Aquaflow are pleased to introduce a new range of full-bore metal seat Wedge Gate Valves into their extensive valve portfolio. The valves, available from DN80 to DN300, meet BS5163:2004 and are suitable for either isolated or buried duty. They withstand a maximum working pressure of 25.0 Bar and shell tested to 37.5 Bar according to EN12266:2003.

The new range has a ductile iron, fusion-bonded epoxy coated (WRAS listed) body, gunmetal seat rings, clockwise-closing stainless steel non-rising spindle, replaceable triple O-ring seals and un-drilled body bosses. The standard operation for this range is by either a handwheel or stem cap, however an ISO5210 pad can be fitted for safe, cost-effective mounting of actuators or gearboxes.

Flange connections are to EN1092-2:2002 Table 10, with face-to-face dimensions according to EN558-1:1986 Series 3. Please also note that the face-to-face dimension of this range is the same as the PN16 version, thus it accommodates less room than traditional PN25 gate valves with the longer face-to-face dimension.

This new range has a number of associated accessories available for purchase; extension spindle, T-key, position indicator, locking device, chainwheel, ISO5210 mounting pad, actuator and bevel/spur gearboxes.
