Pumping Projects and Adoptable Stations
An important part of T-T PUMPS business is in Project work, requiring the complete process of tendering to a client-produced specification, design of the pumping scheme, project management, manufacture, installation, and seeing the project right through to final on-site commissioning.
Sewers for Adoption
We are conversant with, and supply many schemes in accordance with the requirements of the Sewers for Adoption Guide; this is essential for any scheme where the pumping station is to be adopted by your Water Company; they require that the design and all the equipment have to comply with the guidelines as set out in the Sewers for Adoption document, in order for them to take over the future operation of the station.
Skills, Experience and comprehensive Product Range
These projects call for a mix of many types of skills and equipment; pumps feature as the main core product, and are complemented by control panels and control systems, also manufactured within the Company by our T-T CONTROLS Division; and by valve products, again supplied from T-T, in this case by our AQUAFLOW Valves Division.
Frequently we are called upon to provide additional complementary equipment, such as pipework, steelwork, decking and access equipment, access covers, and many other components. Significant elements of recent schemes are the incorporation, within design and build, of monitoring and local and remote control systems, which enable improved efficiency of operation and reduced maintenance costs.
Resources
We carry out these projects almost completely from our own manpower resources, which enables us to be extremely flexible and responsive to client needs.
Applications are largely in sewerage, effluent, and drainage schemes, using submersible pumps and treatment equipment, and in water supply and water transfer schemes using centrifugal pumps, and always including our in-house designed motor and system controls, and valves.
After Sales Service
To ensure continued maintenance of your pumping system, we recommend that you enter into a Service Contract with
T-T PUMPS which will provide periodic service visits, and repairs if necessary.
Service and repair facilities, both on site and works-based, are available, with spares holding.
Both mechanical and electrical work is done.
