Environmental Policy
T-T has a responsibilty to minimise the impact of its business on the environment, and has therefore introduced a policy of sound practical actions. In many areas our actions have enhanced our surrounding environment.
T-T's Environmental Policy has the following objectives:-
- To identify the impact of the business on the environment, and continually review such impacts to improve the company's environmental performance.
- Implement measures to minimise the effects of the business on the environment and where possible make a positive contribution to the environment.
- Be committed to complying with all environmental legislation's and regulations.
- To secure the co-operation and involvement of all employees to minimise the impact of the business on the environment.
T-T has continued to make positive contributions to the environment by maintaining its own site of six acres by:-
- Introducing a Tree Planting Programme to counter balance CO2 emissions.
- Ensuring all agricultural activity is organic and accepted by the Soil Association.
- Preserving a designated area of land and water, which has been identified as a Wild Life and Nature Reserve, .
- Introducing recycling schemes
By statue of Law, many aspects of environmental obligations must be complied with, but it is the Shareholders, Directors and Employees' commitment and willingness that drives T-T's Environmental Policy & Actions to improve the future for us all.
T-T does not currently prescribe to ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
