Auto-coupling Sets - Duckfoot
T-T's Auto Coupling set consists of a pump pedestal/duckfoot, pump hook and upper guide rail fixing bracket for safer, easier and more cost-effective pump access for maintenance and repairs.
With the set fixed to the bottom of the installation chamber, the pump descends on the coupling system’s guide rails until it self-locates in its pre-set operating position.
Auto coupling for submersible pumps enables their removal or installation into a chamber without having to drain the system, for safer, faster and more accurate pump installations.
Product Information
Auto-coupling Sets - Duckfoot
Auto-coupling is the process of installing or removing a pump into a chamber via a guide rail system without the need to disconnect pipework, fittings or fixings.
T-T’s pump auto coupling consists of two halves – a pump hook and a fixed pedestal (or duck foot) that connects to the pump’s discharge pipework. The pump hook facilitates a fluid-tight connection between the pump and the pedestal, which acts as a fixed point for easy pump connection.
When it is time to disconnect the components, the coupling can be easily released by lifting the pump, allowing the two halves to separate. As the pipework doesn’t need to be disconnected, it makes maintenance and cleaning easier, safer and more efficient.
