Custom Control Panel for Dumfries House

Our client, Pump Action recently enquired for a replacement control panel that T-T had previously supplied. The control panel installed at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, Scotland was requested as high priority due to a planned visit from the Queen.

The control panel, which serves a main water feature display, consisting of a fountain situated in the main courtyard, had been damaged due to broken pipework, resulting in the control room being flooded and the panel becoming inoperable.

Pump Action made the enquiry to T-T on explaining that they needed the panel to be dispatched within the week, due to Her Majesty The Queen staying at Dumfries House imminently, and her bedroom overlooked the broken fountain.

As standard, a control panel for such a water feature would usually take a minimum of two weeks to manufacture, but due to our client’s urgent request, we were pleased to be able to provide a high-priority response.

Within T-T there was a swift reaction from the T-T Controls sales, design, assembly, wiring and test teams.  We despatched the panel within four working days, which our client Pump Action was very pleased with, and ensured that was plenty of time for installation and testing.
