T-T Pumps Ltd, one the UK’s market leading companies in the supply, manufacture, design, install and service of pumping equipment, is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join their Controls & Automation team.

Joining an exciting fast paced Controls & Automation team, the ideal candidate will be a motivated detail-orientated individual having the skills and competences to design electrical control systems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Produce schematic design for client approval, using Eplan, AutoCAD electrical
  • Ensure full supporting documentation is produced enabling efficient manufacture, whilst satisfying clients' requirements
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers, to offer the most effective performance and economists of design
  • Maintain good client rapport at all times
  • Ensure that the company designs remain relevant, to current legislation, safety and best practice
  • Be proficient in use of PLC's, HMI's, VSD and other intelligent control products and designs
  • Maintain a collaborative approach with other team members to best effect
  • Have a vested interest in industrial automation and networks, keeping abreast of latest technologies
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary
  • Site attendance / commissioning
  • Seer telemetry
  • Technical support (external, internal and workshop)
  • Identify training needs

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Based at T-T head office in Woore, Cheshire

ANY OTHER DUTIES NECESSARY:

  • Be flexible to the requirements of the business
  • Observe and maintain the company’s Health & Safety Policy and Procedures.
  • Undertake any other duties that may be required from time to time

PERSON SPECIFICATION

QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ TRAINING

  • BTEC / ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industrial automation qualification - Essential
  • BTEC / HNC / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industrial automation qualification - Desirable

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the industry and other related disciplines - Essential
  • Familiar with VSD and soft start technology - Essential
  • Broad base of legislative compliance knowledge and relevant standards - Essential
  • Experience of Scada, networks and telemetry principles – Desirable

Experience

  • Experience of working in a similar role - Essential
  • Panel design, assembly and wiring experience - Essential
  • PLC, software and system design / integration - Desirable
