T-T's 2019 Environmental Goals

Ensure 80% of the packaging we use is from recycled material or is recyclable.

Monitor and reduce energy usage.

Plant trees and proactively combat our effects on the environment.

Promote and incentivise a sustainable ethos throughout the company.

We make a continuous effort to recycle wherever possible. Specifically with the following materials:

  • Paper
  • Cardboard
  • Wood
  • Copper
  • Electric motors
  • Aluminium
  • Stainless Steel
  • Base metals

By the statute of law, many aspects of environmental obligations must be complied with, but it is the shareholders, directors and employee’s commitment and willingness that drive our environmental policy & actions to improve the future for all of us.

Through introducing recyclable and biodegradable materials for office supplies and packaging, such as alternatives for bubble wrap, tape and document wallets, we have reduced the use of common plastics by 57.3% in our packaging! We are looking to continually increase this percentage in the future.

WEEE Compliance

T-T is proud to announce we are compliant with WEEE regulations for the disposal of electrical equipment. Our producer registration number is WEE/MM7853AA.

During 2019, 52 tonnes of waste was collected from T-T.

Of the 52 tonnes, only 0.39% went into a landfill, 24.52% went into a Waste to Energy scheme and 75% was recycled.

Although we are very proud only 0.39% of our waste went into a landfill, we want this to be zero! That is why we are asking our Waste Collection Company to breakdown the waste that went into landfill so we can improve this during 2020.

If there is an alternative method for our waste than landfill, we want to know about it and we want to use it!

We challenge you to reduce the amount of your waste that is going into a landfill during 2020. Join us in making our world a more sustainable one!
