Health and Safety Policy
T-T places great importance on health and safety issues, this includes the safety of others on site, the general public and the environment, as well as all other surrounding factors. All of our service engineers work in teams of two and are fully qualified for:
- Confined space working
- First Aid
- 17th Edition of IEE Wiring Regulations
- CSCS applications
In way of demonstrating conformity with the Electricity at Work Regulations, T-T will provide full certification for all its electrical works within the scope of BS7671.
As an NICEIC approved contractor, T-T are also able to offer a periodic inspection service in order to assist our clients legal obligations. NICEIC approval means that we are continually assessed as an electrical contractor and on our electrical installations. This shows that we have achieved high standards in inspection and testing as well as the use of instruments and assessing the results. You can find us as an approved NICEIC contractor here:
As a CHAS accredited supplier we are able to demonstrate that we are working to the highest standard of health and safety procedures and policies. This continual health and safety assessment scheme enables us to have a recognised standard that you as customers as well as our employees can trust and rely on. The sensitivity of the environment is a responsibility that we take seriously. On many of the applications that we serve, reliability is critical and that is why many clients insist on T-T equipment.
Under current environmental legislation, fines are applied by the Environmental Agency for causing pollution. T-T will undertake a risk assessment prior to work commencing on any site work and operate an action plan to avoid an incident.
