The site presented a large-scale pumped drainage challenge with no direct access to the local gravity sewer network. With multiple buildings, long distances across the estate, and both foul and surface water to manage, a conventional solution simply wasn’t feasible. Any failure would have been unacceptable in a high-end hospitality environment.

The Solution
T-T designed and delivered a fully coordinated pumped drainage network, centred around seven pumping stations working together as a single, intelligent system:
- Six independent pumping stations discreetly collect foul and surface water from across the grounds
- These feed into a final terminal pumping station, which transfers flows off-site into the local sewer network
This staged approach allowed the estate to function efficiently without gravity drainage, while providing resilience and precise control - critical for a site where downtime is simply not an option.
