T-T Flow, a division of T-T Pumps, supplied four DN900 PN10 tilting disc check valves and associated components for use at the Rhyl Marine Lake Pumping Station.
Over the last decade, Dwˆr Cymru Welsh Water has invested £4.5 million in the renewal of the existing sewerage main that runs from the popular seaside resort of Rhyl to Kinmel Bay, bringing major improvements to the wastewater system in Denbighshire and Conwy.
Forming part of a wider £1.5 billion investment in its water and sewerage network, there was a requirement for Tilting Disc Check Valves to be used as part of improvements at the Rhyl Marine Lake Pumping Station.
T-T was entrusted to supply four custom made DN900 PN10 tilting disc check valves. Ideal for use in pumping stations with low flow rates and also for pulsating flows, these high quality check valves are designed to deliver optimal long-term reliability and durability to meet the needs of the project.
Alongside the tilting valves, T-T also delivered a WRAS approved pressure reducing valve (VRCD) and new eccentric plug valve.
T-T Pumps offers a comprehensive range of check valves, with each undergoing stringent independent testing and being certified by the Water Regulations Advisory (WRAS) scheme.
With many years of experience in this field, T-T offers a complete solution for the prevention of water backflow and reverse flow.
