Urgent Replacement Centrifugal Pump with SAER

A client approached T-T Pumps in need of an urgent replacement pump within a short timeframe, as they had been unsuccessful in sourcing a suitable substitute themselves. T-T had the perfect replacement available for ultra-fast delivery that needed minimal modification to existing infrastructure for installation, resulting in a very relieved client.

The Problem

T-T was asked to provide a quote to replace an existing pump installation for an engineering contractor. An exact replacement of the existing pump type was unavailable within the customer’s schedule. The need for a speedy turnaround also limited the client's options to pumps that would fit the existing pump baseplate in order to offset additional modification time.

The Solution

Armed with details of the previous installation, the Pump Sales Team at T-T specified a bare shaft NCBK 150-500C end suction pump - a high-quality pump manufactured by SAER Elletropompe, for whom T-T are the sole UK Distributor. This range is available on exceptional lead times and, combined with the competitive pricing, proved very appealing to the customer.

This robust and reliable surface-mounted pump has a maximum head of approximately 72 metres and is capable of delivering a maximum flow rate of 800 metres cubed per hour when coupled to the appropriate motor on site, which in this case operated at 1450rpm. With a cast iron construction, a DN150 discharge and DN200 suction connections, the pump provides a dependable high-performance solution over the long term.
