T-T Supplies Valves For Nestle Coffee Factory

T-T Flow have recently supplied a range of Aquavault® resilient seat wedge gate valves to a large project for Nestle, in which substantial extensions and improvements are being made to one of their main factories located in Tutbury, Derbyshire.

Nestle, the world's largest food and drinks company, has invested more than £350 million into Nestle Tutbury site, a global ‘Coffee Centre of Excellence’. This substantial investment has resulted in substantial extensions and improvements to the site in recent years. These have included high-tech pod technology, new facilities for employees, brand-new production lines and bio-mass technology.  Due to these improvements, Nestle Tutbury is producing 35,000 tons of coffee a year for customers across the UK, in Europe and the rest of the world according to Nestle.com.

T-T Flow supplied Aquavault resilient seat wedge gate valves, fully WRAS-approved and suitable for potable and clean water use. These valves feature a lightweight ductile design, rolled spindle thread for reduced operating friction and wax-filled fasteners for corrosion resistance. These valves also feature stem seals that are replaceable under pressure and durable bonded epoxy coating, making them a popular, low-maintenance choice. They can be supplied in sizes ranging from DN50 and DN300, rated to a 16 Bar.
