During a successful Lamma exhibition, T-T Pumps representatives were caught up in a case of mistaken identity by a disgruntled pump owner.
The Problem
The gentleman approached T-T's exhibition stand at Lamma with complaints for our team about the stress and expenses caused by his pump's inconsistent performance. The cause of the mix-up was attributed to T-T's blue colour scheme on display at the event looking similar in colour to the pump he had bought, but his pump had been bought from an OEM - with no technical support or after-sales backup provided.
The Solution
The T-T team spoke with the pump owner about the problems he had been experiencing; shared where he had purchased it from; that it had failed multiple times since its installation; and that the repair work carried out by the supplier was less than satisfactory - with parts installed upside-down and bearings in the wrong place leading to continual breakdowns.
Using their knowledge of the market and position as the only UK-approved Cri-Man distributor, our representatives were able to deduce why the pump and attempted repairs had consistently failed.
