Instead of sending Christmas cards internally among staff at T-T, we donate the money that our staff would have spent on cards to charity. This year the money will be donated to 'Our Space' charity.
This is a local charity based in Newcastle-Under Lyme that supports young people with disabilities and their families. Every year we organise numerous charity days and choose a new, local charity to support throughout each year. This year we are proud to be supporting 'Our Space', which is a growing charity helping people within our local area.
Christmas Jumper Charity Day
This year we have taken part in the official Christmas Jumper Day 2016. Our T-T staff dressed in winter woollies, Christmas jumpers and festive attire, as well as bringing in lots of yummy treats! The money we have raised will be split equally between our charity, ‘Our Space’ and the official charity for the Christmas Jumper Day which is ‘Save the Children’.
Christmas Card Competition
Every year we hold a Christmas card competition to get relatives of T-T involved in the festive fun. We ask Children of colleagues (up to the age of 12) to create a Christmas themed picture and the winning drawing is used as T-T’s Christmas e-card. Take a look at our winning entry at the top of the page. This was designed by Dakota Le Maitre, aged 9, daughter of our Area Sales Manager Sheldon. Our lucky winner won vouchers to spend at ‘Toys ‘R’ Us’. This year we had a record number of entries, making it the final decision very tough!
