Aquabrake - Anti-Surge Clean Water Air Valve
The Aquabrake® double orifice air valve is an innovative combination of small and large orifice air valves within compact cylindrical housing.
The large orifice is designed to admit bulk air during the pipeline draining phase, expel bulk air during system filling and bleed accumulations of air through the small orifice under regular operating conditions. The novel design features corrosion restraint components acting through a central axis and reduced weight when compared to comparative units.
The Aquabrake double orifice air valve is used to prevent damaging pressure build-up, vacuums in the pipe system and water hammer, intaking and bleeding air to maintain stability; suitable for potable and filtered water applications.

Lightweight single chamber double orifice air valve with four functions:
- Efficient release of gas to prevent pressure build-up
- Ingress of gas to prevent vacuum in the pipe system
- Controlled bleed of gas to maintain stability
- Rapid fill technology to avoid slam
Suitable for potable and filtered water applications.
