Floaway® anti-flood valves are an efficient solution to preventing the damaging effects of backflow. Backflow occurs when the drainage system becomes overwhelmed by storm water during a flood event and anti-flood valve is used to stop reverse flow of sewage and wastewater from the drainage network. The inline Floaway valve comprises a robust self-acting disc within a sturdy corrosion resistant body. Easy to install and available to suit 110mm and 160mm foul pipework. For peace of mind, property owners can use the manual override locking lever to secure the valve in the closed position. Mainly used in low lying areas susceptible to flooding, protecting from undersized sewers at high flow rates, on pump stations and many more applications.

The Floaway is a simple yet effective back flow prevention valve for use within both domestic and commercial applications to prevent reverse flow of sewage and wastewater from the drainage network. The Floaway is an inline self-acting device with a manual lockable door. The design of the valve incorporates smooth walls with rounded corners to prevent solids accumulating and to avoid septic odour.
