A Pump Maintenance Package (or pump service agreement) is a contract between T-T Service and you to keep your sewage pump station (and other fluid management equipment) in optimal working condition.

T-T's Pump Maintenance Packages are available in three levels that feature different support services, such as pump replacement and 24/7 pump monitoring.

Comprehensive servicing, service reports and priority breakdown attendance are included with all packages as standard - with bespoke pump maintenance packages available to best suit the needs of your equipment and site.

The term pump service covers the installation, comissioning, repair and long-term maintenance of a pump. T-T Service undertakes pump repairs and pump maintenance both on-site and in our fully equipped workshop at T-T HQ in Cheshire.

These services can be accessed on a case-by-case basis or as part of our Pump Maintenance Packages, which include scheduled yearly maintenance visits and priority breakdown attendance.

T-T Service offers three Pump Maintenance Package levels, each of which comes with:

• Scheduled servicing and comprehensive reports
• Access to T-T's workshop for quotations, repairs and replacements
• Priority breakdown attendance
• All replacement products and spares offered at preferential terms
• Arrangement of tankering with our partners

A full system service includes both electrical and mechanical integrity, including overall safety and operating cleanliness of the pumping station. We endevour to ensure your pumping station will operate efficiently and reliably for the long-term.

All our site personnel are CSCS card holders, demonstrating they have the appropriate training and qualifications for on-site working. Other training/qualifications held by our engineers include:

Yes - at the T-T headquarters in Cheshire we have a dedicated clean water testing facility for carrying out hygienic water pump repair services. Read more about our workshop facilities here.

This depends on the application, normal sewage pumping stations we would expect a six monthly service to be adequate. However, this may change depending on  demand on the pumping station.

T-T Pump Maintenance Package holders receive priority breakdown attendance over those without a package, preferrential terms on all T-T products (for the registered site) and access to tankering and jetting services via T-T's partners.

Anyone can call T-T for technical advice or maintenance services, but those who have Pump Maintenance Packages will receive priority attendance for parts and on-site attendance.

If you hold a Pump Maintenance Package with T-T please have your Service Agreement (SA) number to hand, along with the postcode for the site, a brief description of the fault and access availability.

Regular servicing, monitoring and proactive maintenance.

T-T's Seer Monitoring includes advanced units with the ability to monitor and log operating data from your pumping station or other equipment. With this information a pattern of your station's regular operating parameters can be identified, meaning any deviations that may indicate a potential issue can be identified. This enables our engineers to carry out preventative maintenance rather than full breakdown repairs, saving you time and money. See our pump monitoring units for more information.

Pump breakdown can occur due to a number of reasons, both mechanical and electrical - the below is not an exhaustive list of risks but a guide to what can cause a pump to fail:

• General wear and tear - pumping fluid/medium will cause damage to pump components over time, especially if those fluids are corrosive or contain suspended solids. Moving parts will also wear with time and need replacing before they lead to pump failure.
• Blockage - foreign objects, debris and inappropriate materials entering a system (e.g. sanitary products flushed down the toilet) can cause blockages if the pump was not designed to handle such solids, this can lead to leaks and an overworked motor.
• Loss of power/motor failure - incorrect installation, insufficient lubrication and blockages can cause a pump's motor to overheat and fail.
