STU Range - Septic Waste Pre-Treatment Plant
The mobile truck tank is connected to the treatment plant's inlet using a quick coupler and an electrically operated ball valve. Once discharge has started, solids larger than the spacing are retained on the screen.
This results in a rise in the liquid level upstream of the screen - when this level reaches a predetermined value the screw rotation, screenings and washing system are started. The solids are lifted, washed and compacted/de-watered before being unloaded.
