The lifespan of any layflat hose is dependant on how it is used and cared for, there is no standard duration.
The industry standard is 200 meters per hose, but this is not the limit. Hoses can be produced in lengths up to 600 meters, allowing for less couplings needed on the reeler.
Rubber hoses are designed to be used as a static hose, which T-T would always recommend.
Yes, TPU is available in various grades with many brands opting for a lower grade to cut costs. We use a high grade for all our TPU hoses, offering the best wear resistance possible.
Here at T-T we hold large quantities of 102mm and 127mm in both rubber and TPU, with 114mm and 150mm available upon request.
