- Designed to be modular, allowing for a wide range of component combinations that will meet the specific demands of your application.
- Maintenance, repair and component replacement is made easy by the UNIQA Series' modular design.
- Cast iron structure for corrosion and wear resistance in aggressive applications.
- 50 Hz and 60 Hz versions available.
- Leakage detection system in the seal chamber as standard and the motor on request for peace of mind pumping.
- Large free passage for pumping fluids with suspended solids.
- Closed jacket cooling system with internal recirculation and thermal protection devices built into pump stator to protect the motor from overheating.
- Operating temperature up to 40°C (up to 60°C on request).
- ATEX Certified.
- ACS (Anti-Clogging System) - a spiral groove of suitable depth cut into the diffuser plate.
- Available in DRY version, requiring no external fluid input, allowing the pump to operate even if partially submerged or installed in a dry chamber.
Your Guide to UNIQA
A. Cable gland with cable holder - The universal thread ring-nut can be removed to fix a rigid or flexible duct to the cable gland to protect the cable from wear. A resin seal can be applied to prevent any water from leaking into the motor, even if the outer sheath is torn.
B. Electrical connections - the terminal board simplifies electrical wiring procedures concealed in an airtight compartment which can be fitted with a leak protection sensor.
C. Paint - Bicomponent epoxy paint with a standard thickness 200 μm (up to 400 μm on request); durable, chemical and corrosion resistant for a longer lasting pump.
D. Bearings - Ball bearings have a lifetime lubrication design that guarantees 100,000 working hours. Additional sensors can monitor ball bearing temperature and vibration to ensure optimal
performance.
E. Mechanical seals - Two mechanical seals in silicon carbide (SiC-SiC) are enclosed in an inspectable oil chamber, preventing from damaging the seals while an oil lifter component keeps the upper seal lubricated for effective wear protection.
F. Suction & discharge - The suction and discharge flanges can be ordered with holes of any standard type (UNI, ANSI, BS, etc.) to ensure perfect compatibility with the system and the accessories installed.
G. Impeller designs - all UNIQA Series impellers are constructed from cast iron, giving them strong corrosion and wear resistance for a long and reliable operating life.
The Zenit ZUG V is fitted with a cast iron vortex impeller that allows for full passage of susended solids, ideal for agricultural and industrial sites.
The Zenit ZUG OC features a cast iron open channel impeller for reliable free passage of large solids, such as in sewage and drainage systems.
The Zenit UNIQA Chopper is built with a hard cast iron channel impeller that chops through large and fibrous solids that would otherwise cause blockages.
The Zenit ZUG GR features a cast iron grinder impeller for fluids containing solids that need to be broken down prior to pumping.
The Zenit ZUG HP is designed for high pressure flow delivery, with its cast iron impeller delivery a high manimetric head.
UNIQA SERIES INSTALLATION TYPES & ACCESSORIES
Zenit's UNIQA Series of submersible pumps are supplied with a full range of accessories, as standard, that simplifies the installation process. See details below, as well as the different ways in which a Zenit pump can be installed.
Free installation
Permanent installation
Installation with bottom coupler DAC-V
Installation with bottom coupler DAC-H
Vertical installation with cooling system
Horizontal installation with cooling system
Bottom coupler installation - Zenit's range of couplers allows for pumps to be quickly extracted and returned to a system without the need for drainage, which is often a lengthy and expensive operation that can require entire system stoppages. This makes for simpler pump servicing and maintenance with minimal downtime. The DAC-H is designed for installation in tight spaces, with a compact construction. Zenit's DAC-V Coupler is compact and rugged, with a verticle discharge. Both feature accompanying guide pipes to prevent rotation during installation.
Free & permanent installation - Zenit base plates are designed for free installation of a pump, for quick positioning in a tank and a high level of stability thanks to the large contact surface provided.
Cooling system installation - Zenit's DRY version of their UNIQA Series pumps are available for installation with a uniquely designed cooling system for guaranteed reliability in non-submersible applications.

Maintenance and Service
The Zenit UNIQA series of electric submersible drainage pumps have been designed to allow for stress-free maintenance, specifically to facilitate the replacement of components that experience wear and tear during operations. This negates the need for a full pump replacement, extending the pump's lifecycle and reducing your overall maintenance and operating costs.
