The Problem

A local material handling company came to T-T with specifications for three control panels needed to automate processes in a large parcel delivery warehouse for a major logistics client. The builds were bespoke, designed by a third-party consultant and required on a fast turnaround in order to fit with the new site opening.

The Solution

Our skilled technical team were able to complete the order and fulfil the client’s manufacturing needs within their required build programme, utilising our in-house technical assembly, wiring and testing facilities. Close communication with the client ensured the conveyor and sorting automation system met their specifications, resulting in three bespoke PLC motor control centres being delivered in the required time frame.

The final build included 44 variable speed drives with a power range of up to 0.75kW. The VSDs were chosen for their compact design, allowing for installation into the smallest spaces, and PROFINET protocol that facilitates higher speed communication and transmission rates for greater panel performance.
