The Problem

T-T was tasked with providing borehole pumps to deliver high flow and pressure in an aggressive saline environment for a prominent UK manufacturer. The pumps needed to meet a complex set of specifications that would ensure their suitability for the challenging nature of the application, including resistance to the harsh pumping medium they were to be submerged in.

The Solution

After reviewing the detailed specifications of the installation, our pump sales team called upon T-T’s partnership with SAER to provide a high-spec borehole pump within a short time frame to prevent any delay to the project.

The specified pumps were 8” XSP181D 3-stage submersible boreholes with a 5” discharge that can easily reach the required pressure and flow demands of the application. The pump body is constructed in cast 316 stainless steel, providing corrosion resistance and ensuring long-term operation in the aggressive saline environment.
