T-T Wins at Cheshire Business Awards!
T-T were nominated for two awards, the Lets Talk Apprentices Award and Exporter of the Year.
T-T attended the prestigious Chester Cathedral where they were announced winders of the Lets Talk Apprentices.
On Friday evening, ten very excited members of the T-T team made their way to Chester Cathedral for the Cheshire Business Awards. During the journey the excitement was building as we were discussing, ‘what do we do if we win?’ and ‘have we prepared our Oscar worthy speech?’. We were practicing our award winning poses for the camera! It’s safe to say the awards meant a lot to us and we were super excited to see the results.
As the awards began and the anticipation grew there were a lot of nervous faces at the table. We enjoyed the fantastic hospitality and a lovely meal, then we realized the Let’s Talk Apprentices award was up first! We watched our video play on the screens around us and we couldn’t be more proud of the team for all the effort that went in to the whole process to get us to the awards. The drum roll kicked in and we were announced the winner!
Emotions ran high as we celebrated this outstanding achievement. It means so much to so many members of the team who started apprenticeships with T-T over 30 years ago! T-T has always been passionate about supporting apprentices and developing the next generation of engineers and we felt our hard work had paid off and this has only motivated us further to keep on expressing the importance of supporting apprentices in the future. We will continue to offer apprentices at T-T and to visit local schools to get the younger children interested in engineering at a younger age.
A few awards in and it was then Exporter of the year, unfortunately, we didn’t win this award this time but we were proud to be a finalist. However we do have lots of exciting product developments and we are working hard to increase our export efforts, so watch this space!
